This morning our walk from Reculver to Coldharbour was dry but light rain set in as we walked back. Birds we saw included 30 House Sparrows by the King Ethelbert pub, 203 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 24 Mute Swans, 9 Redshank, 32 Oystercatchers, 12 Meadow Pipits, 29 Mallard, 24 Corn Buntings, 1 Green Woodpecker, 8 Ringed Plovers, 1 Grey Plover, 3 Turnstone, 8 Shelduck, 34 Carrion Crows, 1 Little Egret and 2 Snow Buntings.
