We spent another morning ringing this time at Shuart where we saw 1 Common Buzzard, 8 Chiffchaffs, 6 Blackcaps, 4 Greenfinches, 7 Goldfinches, 2 Ravens, 1 Cuckoo, 2 Green Woodpeckers, 3 Whitethroats, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Turtle Doves, 2 Ring-necked Parakeets, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Kestrel, 1 Mistle Thrush and 2 Swifts.

Birds ringed 15: Chiffchaff 5, Great Tit 1, Blackcap 5, Whitethroat 1, Dunnock 2, Blackbird 1.

On a sunny afternoon with a cool NE breeze blowing we walked from Chamber's Wall to Coldharbour and recorded 1 Kestrel, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Blackcap, 3 Whitethroats, 4 Little Egrets, 2 Oystercatchers, 2 Mallard, 4 Mute Swans, 5 Turnstone and 4 Ringed Plover.
