We spent a sunny and warm morning ringing on the Marsh south of the railway where we saw 1 Swift, 2 Greenfinches, 20 Linnets, 5 Yellow Wagtails, 25 Whitethroats, 24 Sedge Warblers, including a French ringed bird, 8 Goldfinches, 3 Blackcaps, 21 Mallard flying S, 10 Reed Warblers, 2 Grey Herons, 2 juvenile Coal Tits (168th), 1 Kestrel and 1 Common Buzzard.
Birds ringed 65: Wren 1, Sedge Warbler 16, Yellow Wagtail 1, Whitethroat 21, Reed Warbler 7, Reed Bunting 6, Linnet 4, Goldfinch 1, Blackcap 1, Great Tit 1, Coal Tit 2, Blue Tit 1, Blackbird 3.
