February 13th
It was another fine February morning as we walked from Chamber's Wall to the Oyster Farm and then inland at Reculver. Birds we saw included 6 Mute Swans, 1 Goldcrest, 12 Corn Buntings, 10 Chaffinches, 4 Linnets, 52 Mallard, 5 Goldfinches, 1 Little Egret, 2 Stonechats, 22 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 5 Shelduck, 11 Oystercatchers, 2 Turnstone, 3 Redshank, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Snow Bunting, 8 Skylarks, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Kestrel, 1 Common Buzzard, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Jay, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker and 1 male Tufted Duck (110th).
