On a wonderful, sunny and frosty February morning we walked from Chamber's Wall to Coldharbour and counted 18 Blackbirds, 2 Mute Swans, 105 Cormorants flying inland to the Stour Valley, 10 Reed Buntings, 1 Marsh Harrier, 250 Woodpigeons, 5 Song Thrushes, 73 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 8 Shelduck, 62 Mallard, 2 Redshank, 3 Oystercatchers, 2 Snow Buntings, 2 Grey Plovers, 3 Ringed Plovers, 35 Carrion Crows, 6 Skylarks and 1 Stonechat.
