December 20th
Marc Heath was out today between 1100 and 1400 in frequent showers walking from Reculver to Coldharbour and back along the embankment. He recorded 9 Pied Wagtails, 1 Marsh Harrier, 6 Meadow Pipits, 5 Cormorants, 10 Oystercatchers, 10 Redshank, 20 Sanderling, 19 Reed Buntings, 29 Turnstone, 54 Ringed Plovers, 2 Mute Swans, 1 Little Egret, 46 Mallard, 1 first winter Mediterranean Gull, 6 Shelduck, 5 Wigeon, 3 Skylarks, 1 Curlew, 39 Corn Buntings, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Pheasant, 1 Common Buzzard, 14 Yellowhammers, 1 Merlin, 3 Tree Sparrows, 2 Stonechats, 1 Lapwing and 1 Kestrel.
