Overnight we had our first rain so far in April and this morning it was still showery with a cool NE breeze blowing and thunder rumbling in the distance. We recorded 9 Blackcaps, 1 Skylark, 3 Chiffchaffs, 4 Whitethroats, 4 Cetti's Warblers, 4 Reed Warblers, 1 Willow Warbler, 17 Mute Swans, 3 Tufted Duck, 2 Mallard, 2 Kestrels, 1 Mistle Thrush, 4 Chaffinches, 6 Goldfinches, 7 Cormorants, 1 Pied Wagtail, 2 Linnets, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Common Buzzards, 1 Greenfinch and 2 Shelducks.
