September 15th

On yet another glorious September morning we walked from Chamber's Wall to Coldharbour and on to the Wantsum outflow. We counted 18 Chiffchaffs, 6 Cetti's Warblers, 9 Robins, 1 Grey Partridge,  2 Blackcaps, 72 Golden Plovers, 5 Whitethroats, 2 Gadwall, 10 Teal, 6 Goldfinches, 17 Linnets, 5 Reed Warblers, 1 Kestrel, 8 Little Egrets, 1 Coot, 3 Stonechats, 12 Redshank, 82 Mallard, 6 Siskin W, 21 Oystercatchers, 20 Turnstone, 2 Common Sandpipers, 3 Sandwich Terns, 82 Sanderling, 178 Ringed Plovers, 4 Dunlin, 8 Reed Buntings, 1 Redstart and 1 Sedge Warbler.
