June 20th
It was overcast and drizzly this morning as we walked from Chamber's Wall to Coldharbour. One or two returning waders were in evidence with 3 Curlews flying inland towards Pegwell Bay and 1 summer plumaged Dunlin flying in off the sea. Other birds seen were 7 Whitethroats, 13 Linnets, 4 Goldfinches, 2 Green Woodpeckers, 1 Turtle Dove "purring" at Chamber's Wall, 6 Cetti's Warblers, 1 Cuckoo, 4 Little Egrets, 3 Coot, 5 Mallard, 2 Shelduck, 3 Turnstone and 1 Yellow Wagtail.
