With a fresh NNW wind blowing we spent from 0700 to 1510 at the Towers seawatching and counted 335 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 15 Great Crested Grebes, 139 Gannets, 10 Red-throated Divers, 16 Shelduck W, 500+ Cormorants, 394 Kittiwakes W, 43 large auks, 1 Black-throated Diver W (194th), 25 Knot W, 1 Great Northern Diver E, 24 Guillemot, 45 Common Gulls W, 24 Common Scoter E, 19 Wigeon W, 2 first winter Little Gulls W, 1 Merlin in off the sea, 9 Razorbills,  2 Goldeneye female/immatures E, 1 juvenile pale phase Pomarine Skua W, 18 Dunlin, 4 Pintail, 1 Puffin flying W at 1330 (195th) and 1 Great Skua E.
