With the sun shining and a easterly breeze blowing we walked along a busy seawall to Coldharbour and back. Birds we saw included 9 Cetti's Warblers, 1 Blackcap, 14 Whitethroats, 1 Sand Martin, 20 Mallard, 2 Tufted Duck, 6 Sedge Warblers, 2 Yellow Wagtails, 9 Oystercatchers, 1 Redshank, 3 Swallows, 4 Ringed Plovers, 15 Linnets, 8 Reed Warblers, 5 Great Black-backed Gulls, 1 Whimbrel, 5 Stonechats, 2 males and 3 juveniles, 3 Avocets, 17 Turnstone, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret and 2 Mediterranean Gulls.
