On a warm and sunny afternoon Matt walked inland at Reculver and counted 2 Yellow Wagtails, 1 Chiffchaff, 21 Tufted Duck, 2 Shelduck, 3 Gadwall, 1 Cuckoo, 1 Green Sandpiper, 5 Common Sandpipers, 2 Lapwings, 1 Little Egret, 8 Greylag Geese, 2 Corn Buntings, 20 Sand Martins, 1 Little Grebe, 10 Mallard and 1 Blackcap.
