Rain stopped play this morning as thundery showers moved up from the south and we had to end our ringing session at Shuart. We saw 3 Cetti's Warblers, 35 Chiffchaffs, 25 Blackcaps, 4 Ring-necked Parakeets, 1 Greenshank, 1 Grey Wagtail, 25 Greylag Geese, 2 Canada Geese, 3 Reed Warblers, 1 Firecrest, 1 Whitethroat, 94 Swallows SE, 2 Goldcrests, 1 Kestrel, 3 Siskins and 1 Sedge Warbler.

Birds ringed 43: Chiffchaff 17, Firecrest 1, Goldcrests 2, Whitethroat 1, Blackcap 13, Reed Warbler 2, Goldfinch 2, Blue Tit 1, Sedge Warbler 1, Dunnock 3.
