December 10th
It was a bright and breezy morning as we walked from Reculver to Coldharbour and back by way of the railway embankment. We saw 341 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 457 Cormorants, 7 Shelduck, 2 Kingfishers, 19 Ringed Plovers, 4 Red-throated Diver, 5 Little Grebes, 3 Curlews, 1 Kestrel, 7 Oystercatchers, 1 Grey Plover, 5 Turnstone, 1 Sanderling, 1 Common Sandpiper, 9 Redshank, 4 Stonechats, 1 Dunlin, 68 Carrion Crows, 13 Snow Buntings, 2 Mallard, 2 Little Egrets, 28 Fieldfares, 2 Redwings, 2 Goldcrests, 2 Corn Buntings and 2 Grey Herons.
