With the wind still blowing strongly from the SW we walked around Shuart this morning and counted 11 Goldcrests, 1 Jay, 17 Mute Swans, 65 Lapwings, 6 Goldfinches, 2 Ring-necked Parakeets, 14 Long-tailed Tits, 3 Common Buzzards, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 13 Fieldfares, 4 Redwings and 1 Sparrowhawk.
We the had a walk at Reculver where we found a flock of 290 Stock Doves, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 1 Common Buzzard, 2 Chiffchaff, 68 Gadwall, 3 Mallard, 2 Tufted Duck, 4 Coot, 3 Grey Partridges, 2 Teal and 16 Chaffinches.
