October 22nd
It felt cooler this morning as we walked from Chamber's Wall and along the railway embankment to Plumpudding and then back to Shuart. We saw 2 Kestrels, 21 Goldfinches, 4 Goldcrests, 21 Chaffinches, 2 Grey Wagtails W, 2 Cetti's Warblers, 4 Chiffchaffs, 58 Reed Buntings, 24 Linnets, 3 Skylarks, 10 Greenfinches, 33 Mute Swans, 55 House Sparrows, 21 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Wheatears, 53 Meadow Pipits, 3 Pied Wagtails, 1 Stonechat, 2 Rock Pipits, 18 Redpoll W, 2 Corn Buntings and 2 Ring-necked Parakeets.
