November 29th
With a  fresh NW wind blowing I arrived at the Towers at 0750 and spent two hours seawatching. It was pretty quiet but there were some birds flying W and I counted 79 Gannets, 25 Red-throated Divers, 38 Common Scoter, 38 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 345 Cormorants, 4 Kittiwakes and 5 Pintail, 3 males and 2 females.
This morning Terry Wilson saw 50 Sanderling and 2 Snow Buntings at Plumpudding.

This evening I received information about a ringed Lesser Redpoll we caught at Shuart on 31st October. It had been ringed at Whixall and Fenn's Mosses, Wrexham, Wales on 14th October 2017 and had flown 324 km ESE.
