We spent a cold but sunny morning ringing on the Marsh south of the railway where we saw 14 Tree Sparrow, 9 Yellowhammers, 25 Chaffinches, 1 Kestrel, 1 Grey Partridge, 20 Corn Buntings, 1 Kingfisher, 19 Redwings, 103 Cormorants flying S, 11 Siskins W, 24 Reed Buntings, 2 Goldcrests, 32 Mute Swans, 1 Green Woodpecker and 1 Water Rail.
Birds ringed 45: Wren 1, Chaffinch 7, Tree Sparrow 8, Reed Bunting 16, Great Tit 2, Blue Tit 1, Robin 1, Dunnock 1, Yellowhammer 1, Song Thrush 1, Redwing 1, Blackbird 5.
