This morning Matt walked from Reculver to Plumpudding and back and recorded 2 Blackcaps, 2 Swallows, 6 Little Egrets, 3 Marsh Harriers, 9 Cetti's Warblers, 1 Kestrel, 32 Turnstone, 4 Whimbrel (143rd), 60 Corn Buntings, 2 Sedge Warblers, 6 Sandwich Terns, 1 Gannet, 1 Little Ringed Plover flying W, 24 Redshank, 2 Curlew, 2 White Wagtails, 14 Pied Wagtails, 1 Avocet (144th), 2 Mediterranean Gulls, 2 Yellow Wagtails (145th), 2 Lapwings, 1 Greenfinch, 2 Chiffchaffs, 3 Willow Warblers, 11 Song Thrushes, 1 Green Sandpiper, 2 Little Stints flying W (146th), 1 Stonechat, 1 Common Buzzard and 2 Sand Martins.
Later the three of us walked inland at Reculver and saw 2 Chiffchaffs, 2 Cetti's Warblers, 1 Common Buzzard, 3 Mallard, 2 Blackcaps, 2 Shelduck, 4 Shoveler, 1 Greenshank (147th), 1 Green Sandpiper, 5 Great Crested Grebes, 2 Sedge Warblers and 2 Green Woodpeckers.
