On an overcast, cold and drizzly morning we walked inland at Reculver and recorded 1 Chiffchaff, 4 Ravens, 24 Coot, 17 Teal, 62 Mallard, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Wigeon, 7 Tufted Duck, 1 Redshank, 5 Mute Swans, 1 Kestrel, 1 Water Rail and 120 Chaffinches. We then visited Shuart where we saw 1 Redwing, 1 Firecrest, 14 Goldfinches, 215 Linnets, 15 Chaffinches, 1 Jay and 1 Grey Heron.
