It was bright and breezy this morning as I walked along the seawall and counted 18 Mediterranean Gulls, 5 Cetti's Warblers, 18 Linnets, 1 Whitethroat, 4 Little Egrets, 1 Mallard, 1 singing Chaffinch at the Oyster Farm, 2 Redshank, 7 Sedge Warblers, 13 Corn Buntings, 5 Shelduck, 1 Oystercatchers, 2 Wheatears moving W along the beach, 1 Ringed Plover. 8 Mute Swans, 1 Swallow W and 1 Pied Wagtail.

Dave Smith was also birding this morning at Shuart and Plumpudding and recorded 22 Mute Swans, 3 Mallard, 6 Tufted Duck, 3 Coot, 4 Oystercatchers, 1 Grey Plover, 2 Ringed Plovers, 4 Lapwings, 1 Redshank, 3 Turnstone, 2 Mediterranean Gulls, 5 Sandwich Terns, 2 Little Egrets, 1 Grey Heron, 3 Marsh Harriers, 1 Green Woodpecker, 14 Sedge Warblers, 1 Reed Warblers, 8 Swallows, 1 House Martin, 2 Willow Warblers, 7 Chiffchaffs, 5 Blackcaps, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 17 Whitethroats, 1 Song Thrush, 1 Stonechat, 2 Wheatears, 7 Yellow Wagtails, 1 Pied Wagtail and 2 Siskins.
