On a sunny morning with a moderate ENE wind blowing Matt seawatched at Reculver between 0600 and 0745. He counted 368 Sandwich Terns flying E, 4 Gannets, 2E and 2W, 43 Common Scoter, 35 E and 8W, 2 Mediterranean Gulls E, 33 Common Terns E, 50 Teal W, 1 male Pochard E, 1 Black Tern E, 1 Shoveler E, 3 Wigeon W and 3 Common Sandpipers. After this we walked inland and saw 1 Grey Heron, 3 Mute Swans, 9 Little Grebes, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Common Buzzard, 1 Raven, 8 Gadwall, 124 Coot, 5 Tufted Duck, 2 Kestrels, 1 Wheatear, 108 Mallard and 1 Whimbrel E.
