At last a fine and sunny morning as we walked along the seawall from Reculver. We recorded 67 Cormorants, 2 Grey Herons, 15 Little Egrets, 1 Kestrel, 4 Oystercatchers, 5 Ringed Plovers, 3 Redshank, 1 Whimbrel, 104 Black-headed Gulls loafing on the mud including good numbers of juveniles, 8 Swifts W, 2 Little Owls, 11 Swallows W, 2 Pied Wagtails, 8 Meadow Pipits, 208 Starlings, 3 Goldfinches and 19 Linnets,
