Later, whilst walking along the railway embankment from Shuart, Derek heard and saw a Dusky Warbler (179th) in the trackside bushes. This is the ninth Dusky Warbler to be found on the Marsh. Although it was constantly calling both Derek and Matt only got brief views of the bird as it moved through the bushes. Matt however managed to get the proverbial record shot.
