November 21st
On a surprisingly mild morning with a fresh SW wind blowing we walked from Chamber's Wall to Coldharbour and then along the seawall towards Reculver. With the tide out we counted 1 Kestrel, 15 Fieldfares W, 2 Corn Buntings, 1 Grey Wagtail W, 81 Mallard, 23 Chaffinches, 99 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 3 Grey Plovers, 26 Oystercatchers, 2 Little Egrets, 55 Carrion Crows, 2 Shelduck, 1 Curlew, 7 Redshank, 2 Turnstone, 8 Sanderling, 8 Lapwings in off the sea, 2 Stonechats, 2 Cetti's Warblers, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Peregrine and 1 Marsh Harrier.
During the day Dudley Cox saw the 6 Snow Buntings at Reculver and June Elliott saw 13 Sanderling and a male Sparrowhawk at Bishopstone.
