On yet another sunny morning we walked from Chamber's Wall and along the seawall to the Oyster Farm lagoons. Birds we saw included 1 Kestrel, 3 Yellow Wagtails, 16 Whitethroats, 16 Mallard, 2 Cuckoos, 3 Cetti's Warblers, 2 Turtle Doves, 3 Blackcaps, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Sandwich Terns, 40 Bar-tailed Godwits E, 32 Oystercatchers, 4 Ringed Plovers, 31 Turnstone, 116 Sanderling, 4 Little Egrets, 3 Swallows, 3 Common Terns, 2 Grey Partridges, 5 Shelduck, 1 Greenshank, 2 Redshank, 13 Linnets and 13 Mute Swans.
This afternoon 2 Red Kites flew W at Bishopstone.
