It was bright and sunny with the tide out this morning as we walked from Minnis Bay to Reculver. Birds we saw included 3 Mediterranean Gulls, 21 Linnets, 2 Grey Herons, 2 Yellow Wagtails, 2 Whitethroats, 1 Pied Wagtail, 6 Oystercatchers, 6 Little Egrets, 7 Redshank, 1 Curlew, 1 immature Gannet floating offshore with fishing net tangled around its neck, 2 Great Crested Grebes, 1 Kestrel, 1 Common Sandpiper and 1 Swift W.
