After this morning's heavy rain we didn't venture out until after lunch when we walked from Reculver to Coldharbour in sunshine and showers. We counted 21 Swifts W, 21 Swallows W, 7 Linnets, 3 Little Egrets, 5 Common Sandpipers, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit W, 3 House Martins W, 8 Oystercatchers, 6 Ringed Plovers, 3 Whitethroats, 3 Sedge Warblers, 1 Shelduck, 2 Pied Wagtails, 1 Cuckoo, 2 Stonechats, 3 Mallard, 3 Yellow Wagtails, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull W, 4 Common Terns W and 1 Wheatear.
