March 6th
We spent a lovely, sunny morning at a very quiet Dungeness. Our highlights included finding the 6 Whooper Swans at Appledore and seeing a third winter Caspian Gull at the Patch.
Later, in the afternoon, we walked at Reculver and recorded 2 Goldfinches, 1 Kestrel, 4 Long-tailed Tits, 1 Mute Swan, 2 Great Crested Grebes, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Song Thrushes, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Mallard, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Water Rail and 12 Chaffinches.
