May 15th
It was a pleasant spring morning as we walked out to Coldharbour but there had been little change in species and numbers since yesterday. We counted 1 Blackcap, 7 Linnets, 16 Sedge Warblers, 12 Skylarks, 9 Swallows, 6 Reed Warblers, 13 Whitethroats, 2 Chaffinches, 2 Cetti's Warblers, 12 Mute Swans, 2 Tufted Duck, 2 Oystercatchers, 3 Yellow Wagtails, 2 Gadwall, 13 Mallard, inluding 6 ducklings, 1 Kestrel, 4 Common Terns, 10 Meadow Pipits, 1 Fulmar, 1 Pied Wagtail, 24 Turnstone, 8 Ringed Plovers, 23 Sanderling, 6 Reed Buntings, 2 Coot, 1 Willow Warbler, 3 Swifts, 1 Cuckoo, 2 Common Buzzards, 1 Chiffchaff and 1 Moorhen.
