May 5th
It was sunny this morning with a brisk and chilly E wind blowing. We managed to record 16 Whitethroats, 2 Blackcaps, 7 Swallows, 11 Skylarks, 15 Sedge Warblers, 3 Corn Buntings, 5 Linnets, 3 Chaffinches, 7 Reed Warblers, 10 Mallard, 1 Chiffchafff, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 2 Tufted Duck, 1 Green Woodpecker, 4 Greylag Geese, 1 Shoveler, 5 Reed Buntings, 6 Turnstone, 2 Redshank, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Shelduck, 4 Meadow Pipits, 4 Oystercatchers, 6 Ringed Plovers, 2 Pied Wagtails, 1 Fulmar E, 8 Sanderling and 1 Wheatear.
