We spent the morning ringing at Shuart where luckily the thundery rain held off until we arrived home. Birds we saw included 2 Green Woodpeckers, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Jay, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Common Buzzards, 50 Reed Warblers, 60 Sedge Warblers, 10 Blackcaps, 8 Whitethroats, 1 Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Marsh Harriers, 1 Corn Bunting, 10 Goldfinches and 2 Willow Warblers.

Birds ringed 99: Wren 1, Willow Warbler 1, Whitethroat 6, Reed Warbler 28, Sedge Warbler 41, Blue Tit 2, Great Tit 1, Chaffinch 2, Blackcap 7, Cetti's Warbler 1, Grasshopper Warbler 1, Reed Bunting 3, Blackbird 5.
