The overnight rain had cleared the murk away this morning but there was a perishing northerly wind blowing on our walk from Reculver to Coldharbour and back. Birds we saw included 1 Pied Wagtail, 1 male Peregrine, 157 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 8 Ringed Plovers, 8 Oystercatchers, 2 Stonechats, 11 Mallard, 4 Shelduck, 7 Redshank, 40 Common Scoter, 2 Little Grebes, 350 Golden Plover, 1 Spoonbill flying W (132nd) and 1 Curlew.
