October 24th

This morning we walked from Chamber's Wall to the Wantsum outflow and back. We saw 30 Goldfinches, 1 Brambling, 22 Chaffinches, 10 Skylarks, 2 Chiffchaffs, 4 Cetti's Warblers, 1 Kestrel, 1 Golden Plover, 2 Stonechats, 2 Grey Herons, 2 Little Egrets, 1 Red-throated Diver, 14 Mallard, 2 Shelduck, 4 Oystercatchers, 12 Meadow Pipits, 12 Ringed Plovers, 2 Curlew, 200 House Sparrows, 1 Tree Sparrow, 2 Dark-bellied Brent  Geese, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Redwing, 8 Linnets, 4 Song Thrushes and 5 Jays W.

Female Stonechat
