March 10th
On yet another revolting morning with rain and an increasingly strong northerly wind blowing we spent and hour at Reculver where we counted 56 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 3 Red-throated Divers,1 Sanderling, 1 adult Gannet E and 1 Curlew. The first winter Bewick's Swan was still in the field by the Roman Galley with 15 Mute Swans where there was also a Yellowhammer with 85 Chafinches. Hopefully there will be an improvement in the weather tomorrow.
