June 26th

It wasn't quite as hot this morning as there was thin cloud cover and a light northerly breeze blowing as we walked from Reculver to Coldharbour. It was still relatively quiet but we did see 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 7 Whitethroats, 9 Oystercatchers, 9 Linnets, 5 Goldfinches, 5 Great Black-backed Gulls, 3 Little Egrets, 4 Ringed Plovers, 4 Avocets, 4 Shelduck, 1 Swallow, 1 Mallard, 2 Tufted Duck, 1 Coot, 2 Cetti's Warblers, 1 Stonechat, 1 immature male Marsh Harrier and 3 Sand Martins.
