On a blustery and showery morning we walked inland from Reculver and counted 6 Chiffchaffs, 1 Common Buzzard, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 66 Mallard, 53 Coot, 2 Green Woodpeckers, 4 Tufted Duck, 3 Common Sandpipers, 7 Little Grebes, 1 Little Egret, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 4 Reed Warblers, 3 Gadwall, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Kingfisher and 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker.
