March 3rd
Even though it was a beautiful, sunny afternoon there was not a great deal to see as I walked at Minnis Bay. I counted 90 Oystercatchers, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 27 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 3 Grey Plovers, 3 Curlews, 1 Peregrine flying in off the sea, 1 singing male Pied Wagtail, 3 Redshank and 17 Sanderling.
