Although still mild it was wet this morning as we walked from Reculver along the seawall and then inland. Birds we saw included 4 Blackcaps, 2 Cuckoos, 3 Whitethroats, 1 Black Redstart, 2 Common Sandpipers, 4 Oystercatchers, 7 Cormorants, 8 Linnets, 1 Redshank, 4 Ringed Plovers, 4 Shelduck, 3 Little Egrets, 1 Common Tern, 3 Pied Wagtails, 1 Hobby, 1 Grey Heron, 6 Goldfinches, 2 Mallard, 12 Sand Martins, 2 Tufted Duck and 1 Chiffchaff.
