April 20th
This morning we had intended to walk from Chamber's Wall to Coldharbour and along the seawall but as we were half way between the railway and the seawall we received a call from Marc Heath to say that there was a Grasshopper Warbler (150th) singing south of the railway. By the time we got there it had stopped singing and had probably moved on south but we were rewarded by finding a superb male Pied Flycatcher (151st) which spent about five minutes living up to its name before moving on.
