We have ringed 82 Blackcaps in the last two days and thought that they were almost certainly British birds moving through. We got proof of this yesterday as a bird we caught with someone else's ring had been ringed as a first year bird at Hillesden, Buckinghamshire on July 14th and had moved 163 km ESE to reach Reculver.
