Dave Smith spent two hours in the Minnis Bay and Plumpudding areas and recorded 4 Wigeon, 2 Teal, 2 Snipe, 11 Sandwich Terns, 3 Grey Herons, 1 Little Egret, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Kestrel, 1 Merlin, 1 Peregrine, 6 Blackcaps, 2 Song Thrushes, 32 Redwings, 5 Stonechats and 96 Chaffinches W.

With a moderate NW wind blowing we spent an hour at the Towers this afternoon. We did not see a great deal, just 17 Dark-bellied Brent Geese W, 1 Red-throated Diver, 2 Dunlin W, 2 adult Mediterranean Gulls E, 7 Common Terns W, a group of 9 Grey Herons W and 1 Great Crested Grebe W.
