August 15th
On a warm and sunny morning we walked from Reculver to the Green Wall and back. We saw 5 Swallows W, 2 Sand Martins, 2 Redshank, 2 Sandwich Terns, 6 Turnstone, 15 Linnets, 2 Grey Herons, 5 Whitethroats, 550 Starlings, 6 Goldfinches, 2 Great Black-backed Gulls, 1 Whimbrel W, 2 Mallard, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 1 Little Egret, 1 Stonechat and 4 Ringed Plovers.
