We spent the morning ringing at Reculver where we counted 4 Common Sandpipers, 82 Coot, 11 Little Grebes, 10 Tufted Duck, 12 Gadwall, 2 Teal, 60 Mallard, 1 Whimbrel, 2 Common Buzzards, 42 Swallows, 2 Jays, 3 Green Woodpeckers, 4 Chiffchaffs, 2 Sedge Warblers, 3 Reed Warblers, 2 Blackcaps, 2 Whitethroats, 1 Willow Warbler, 2 House Martins, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 4 Goldfinches and 3 Sand Martins. We also found a Willow Emerald Damselfly.

Birds ringed 17: Willow Warbler 1, Blackcap 2, Goldfinch 2, Blue Tit 2, Reed Warbler 2, Whitethroat 1, Sedge Warbler 1, Great Tit 1, Lesser Whitethroat 1, Robin 1, Song Thrush 1, Blackbird 1, Woodpigeon 1.
