On a showery morning at Shuart we recorded 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Barn Owl, 3 Bramblings, 510 Redwings arriving from height, 15 Goldcrests, 2 Cetti's Warblers, 75 Siskins, 6 Chiffchaffs, 25 Fieldfares, 60 Chaffinches, 60 Starlings W, 1 Firecrest, 11 Skylarks, 1 Hawfinch, 8 Redpoll, 1 Raven, 4 Ring-necked Parakeets, 25 Blackbirds, 190 Greylag Geese, 3 Barnacle Geese, 5 Swallows, 12 Song Thrushes, 1 Crossbill W, 1 Blackcap, 1 Sparrowhawk and 1 Kestrel.

Birds ringed 23: Goldcrest 9, Firecrest 1, Chiffchaff 2, Wren 1, Blackcap 1, Robin 4, Chaffinch 1, Dunnock 1, Song Thrush 3.
