Although there was a southerly wind blowing this morning we decided to have a seawatch at Reculver. Between 0745 and 0915 we counted 18 Gannets, 3 Mediterranean Gulls E, 12 Great Black-backed Gulls, 136 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 5 Little Egrets, 3 Red-throated Divers, 1 Great Northern Diver, 6 Sandwich Terns, 1 immature Peregrine, 32 Chaffinches W, 1 Siskin W, 3 Great Crested Grebes, 8 Grey Plovers, 22 Turnstone, 1 Redpoll W, 7 Linnets and 1 Common Scoter E.
