With a moderate easterly wind blowing Matt had a quick look at the sea and counted 9 Sandwich Terns, 250 Black-headed Gulls, 11 Swallows, 1 Egyptian Goose E, 1 Common Scoter W, 1 Black Tern W (173rd) and 1 Little Egret. After this we walked inland and saw 3 Common Buzzards, 2 Cetti's Warblers, 110 Coot, 3 Mute Swans, 6 Tufted Duck, 3 Green Sandpipers, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Meadow Pipits, 10 Little Grebes, 9 Corn Buntings, 2 Whitethroats, 158 Mallard, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Raven, 1 Little Egret and 1 Mediterranean Gull.
