With a fresh, south-west wind blowing in showers we spent seventy minutes at Reculver looking at the sea. We counted 495 Chaffinches flying W, 2 Gannets flying W, 4 Common Gulls, 13 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 3 Stock Doves W, 65 Starlings W, 40 Ringed Plovers, 2 Great Crested Grebes, 8 Meadow Pipits, 1 Curlew, 2 Skylarks W, 4 Cormorants, 1 Jay and 1 Black Redstart flycatching from the seawall.
