This morning we walked from Chamber's Wall to the Oyster Farm and then back via Colharbour. Birds we saw included 224 Cormorants flying S to the Stour Valley, 6 Redwings, 27 Chaffinches, 20 Blackbirds, 16 Goldfinches, 10 Lapwings, 23 Corn Buntings, 3 Kestrels, 72 Carrion Crows, 60 House Sparrows, 2 Cetti's Warblers, 4 Fieldfares, 2 Redshank, 22 Ringed Plovers, 5 Sanderling, 8 Little Egrets, 13 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 42 Mallard, 4 Wigeon, 70 Common Scoter, 2 Snow Buntings feeding on the seeds of Yellow Horned Poppy at Coldharbour, 3 Yellowhammers, 5 Grey Partridges and 2 Marsh Harriers.
