On a sunny but chilly morning we walked from Chamber's Wall to Coldharbour and the seawall and recorded 14 Skylarks, 1 Green Woodpecker, 12 Redwings, 1 Goldcrest, 130 Cormorants S, 22 Chaffinches, 58 Corn Buntings, 40 Carrion Crows, 4 Mallard, 24 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 55 House Sparrows, 35 Reed Buntings, 19 Sanderling, 9 Wigeon, 23 Ringed Plovers,
6 Snow Buntings, 2 Great Crested Grebes and 1 Kestrel.

Derek Smith was out this afternoon and walked from Shuart to Brooksend and saw 1 male Marsh Harrier, 35 Redwings, 40 Fieldfares, 2 Grey Wagtails,
2 Coal Tits as well as 2 Common Darters.
